The Lemosho Route is renowned for its excellent acclimatization profile, providing trekkers with a stunning, less-traveled path to Kilimanjaro’s Shira Plateau. While the route can be completed in a minimum of six days, a seven-day trek is highly recommended. The extended duration allows for better acclimatization, helping to minimize altitude sickness and providing additional rest time before the summit attempt. This extra day significantly enhances both safety and enjoyment on the journey to the roof of Africa.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our friendly, experienced, and polite driver guides. After a brief introduction, you will be escorted to Arusha for your overnight stay at Kibo Palace Hotel. If time allows, you can enjoy a short city tour for free.

Continue up to Barafu Camp, completing the South Circuit. Enjoy views of the summit from different angles. Rest, have dinner, and prepare for the summit push.
Around midnight, begin the final ascent to Uhuru Peak. After reaching the summit, descend to Mweka Camp, stopping at Barafu for lunch. The trail is rocky and challenging, requiring trekking poles for support.
