Today, our friendly driver will pick you up at your hotel in Zanzibar at 7:30 AM after breakfast and transfer you to the airport. You'll have an 8:00 AM flight, soaring from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport at 9:15 AM, our expert driver-guide will greet you and, after a short briefing for your safari, take you on a scenic drive to the breathtaking Tarangire National Park for a wildlife game drive, just 2 hours from Arusha.
The name of the park originated from the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands, which is the only source of water for wild animals here during the dry season. The park is well known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.
